Meet Beth

I’m Beth, the one behind the  lens here at Beth Galligan Photography. I love my job, it's true! I swoon over sweet newborns and watch families grow - at "work" - it doesn't get much better than that, and I am so blessed! 

My journey with photography started back in high school. I took photos for the year book and on the side as a hobby. After graduation, I landed in culinary arts school with a major in baking and pastry arts. I continued photography on the side, and was always taking photos of my delicious creations. One night I whipped up a batch of cupcakes, just to take photos of them (ok, and maybe to eat ha!). It was that moment when I realized I no longer wanted to bake professionally, I wanted to be behind the camera. Only a few short months later, my photography business blew up. I had finally found where my heart and soul had always been. 

Along with photography, traveling is my passion. My favorite place is on the beach, the smell of the salty air and my toes in the sand put my at peace. I am also a mama of two, a couple dogs, and some chickens. I am a self proclaimed book nerd, salt water fisher, sweet tea connoisseur, and lover of all things whimsical. I believe in living life to the fullest and doing what you love. I believe in embracing life, and I believe there is magic all around us if you simply open your heart.
